The Hallmark miniseries Frederick Forsyth's Icon premiered in the USA on Memorial Day, May 30, 2005. Barry Morse played the role of 'Josef Cherkassov', the President of Russia. He appears in four scenes spread throughout the miniseries. Three of the scenes take place in his Presidential office (two at his desk and one at a nearby conference table). His final scene is at the inauguration of the new Russian President, his successor. Barry also appears in a television news clip separate from the four scenes.
