New book "Two for the Road" is now available!

By Robert E. Wood and Anthony Wynn.
A lifelong love story told through letters, journals, and performance.
Actors Barry Morse and Sydney Sturgess married in 1939 and remained devoted to each other for sixty years. Frequently separated by tours, film shoots, and theatre engagements, they bridged the distance with heartfelt letters, witty notes, and even voice recordings - capturing not only their abiding love but also the triumphs and struggles of two working actors navigating the 20th-century stage and screen.
Two for the Road presents a remarkable portrait of their marriage, set against the backdrop of wartime England, postwar theatre, Canadian television, and Hollywood film sets. Their words reveal a partnership both tender and tempestuous: candid confessions, moments of doubt, and unshakable loyalty woven into a narrative as dramatic as any play they performed.
For theatre enthusiasts, film historians, and anyone moved by enduring love stories, Two for the Road is a vivid, intimate chronicle of two artists bound together through decades of change - onstage and off.

Conversations at Warp Speed features insightful interviews with actors and other personalities who were there at the inception of the original Star Trek television series (Grace Lee Whitney, George Takei, and James Doohan). They share their memories of the science fiction phenomenon and are joined by performers who appeared in later series and film incarnations (Robin Curtis, Nick Tate, Bibi Besch, Kitty Swink, Armin Shimerman, and the final interview with Paul Carr). Additional interviewees include producer and writer Eric A. Stillwell ("Yesterday's Enterprise"), and the creator of Star Trek himself - Gene Roddenberry.
Not only limited to their various involvements with the classic show, a number of the conversations in this book more deeply examine the careers, backgrounds, and other notable work of the performers and professionals - both prior to and following their work on the iconic series and films.
Also included are bonus interviews with Corinne Orr (Speed Racer), Gretchen Corbett (Otherworld, The Rockford Files), and Barry Morse (The Fugitive, Space: 1999).

In an age of instant communication through e-mail and cellular phones, Bernard and Bosie is a reminder of the intimate and ‘old-fashioned’ art of letter writing.
The play explores the complex relationship between playwright and literary giant George Bernard Shaw and the poet Lord Alfred 'Bosie' Douglas through their own letters in the 1930s and 40s. The two men are from opposite ends of the spectrum, however, they manage to connect and form a friendship. Through the course of their correspondence, their relationship deepens into a paternal bond.
The play is an evocative, touching, and frequently funny—but often telling—pair of character studies. It examines the changing nature of their relationship through good times and bad, in health and in sickness. It’s a story about character and the ways in which personal fate is tied to the earliest years of their lives, and how the past can have a direct impact on the present.
Staged performances of Bernard and Bosie: A Most Unlikely Friendship have been given in London, Sarasota, Lexington, and New York. It is available for performance in the USA and Canada.

REVIEWS OF BERNARD AND BOSIE:
"I appreciate how [Anthony] Wynn edited their letters to highlight the many facets of their relationship and was struck by the boldness of some of their communications... A letter is such a simple thing. So is a staged reading. And yet in this show we see how transformative both can be."
- Lexington Herald-Leader
"The play is compelling... A funny, touching, engaging piece of theatre, revealing an extraordinary friendship convincingly in the friends' own words."
- The OSCHOLARS
